I found myself in a floating world where everything was in the color of a rainbow.
The forest where I happily skip like an untethered kid was enchanting and has the life of its own.
The squirrels willingly drew closer to me, and together, we chased after the colored birds, which engaged in a game of hide and seek with us.
I was as free as air, unbothered, and the trees bore delicious fruits, which fed me distend whenever I felt the pang of hunger.
Inch by inch, I drifted off to another realm, to a bleak boring place where Twilight was unending and the sun never ever rises.

It was a drab world where the trees were leafless, and the murky streams were unbelievably filled with giant varieties of fishes that dives in and out of the water unperturbed
The lilliputian huts were roofed with straw rafter, and the inhabitants were mostly nüdë and gazed at me with raw interest.
I met my parents and Alali in one of the huts, but I was overly dis@ppointed because they did not give me the grand welcome I expected from a parent who’s long separated from their child.
Mama was wëep!ng softly and pushed me away when I tried to embrace her while Papa brandished a long wh!p with which he prevents me from coming any closer to the hut.
I stood outside, gr?eving for the rejection, and Alali waved at me from a distance, but Mama hastily drew him inside.

When I began to weëp brokenly, imploring my parents to open the door and receive me into their house, Papa came out and began to pursue me with the wh!p.
We ran along a track flanked with leafless trees, which formed a canopy.
Papa was f!ery, and his feet hung in the air as he went after me, barking commands until we came to a spot where the track split into several routes.
Papa stood still and pointed towards a route that seemed darker than the others.
When I stopped as well and dared him to follow me up, he leapt and pushed me and a vi0lent wind picked me up and pushed me further down the track until I landed in my bütt in the sunny side of the life.

I quickly got up and pressed forward until I heard voices of people speaking excitedly.
I heard bleeping sounds which ass@ulted my ears and whenever I tried to open my eyes, to trace the source of the sound, I saw myself ly?ng instead in a narrow bed in a pristine white environment and the face of the woman from the log cabin loomed.
I couldn’t explain how long I tarried in that h0rrible condition until my eyes eventually opened and I was able to register my environment.
I discovered that I was actually ly!ng in a hospital bed with different types of tubes fixed in my body and the woman who sat beside me was not my nightmare from the log cabin but a matronly figure who has a very soft countenance.
She smiled warmly at me and mopped my forehead with a sleek handkerchief when she realized that I was awake and staring suspiciously at her.

I could not move my body, but soon enough, she went out and returned with a group of people in white and blue coverall who began to work on me.
In the space of two days, I felt stronger and was relieved of some of the tubes attached to my body.
I felt relaxed around the woman who ministered to my needs and cüdled me like a child.
The foods she brought were delicious, the best I’ve had in my entire life and the fruits and vegetables which followed each course was delectable.
Her kindness brought te@rs to my eyes, and when I mustered the courage to enquire who she was, she smiled softly and gently squeezed my hands.

“You’ve just been snatched from the jaw of de@t Ebi, you’ve been away for three weeks, but thanks be to God who brought you back.
We’ll get to know each other better. All I need from you now is to keep getting stronger.
We’ll be fine eventually, ” she winked and squeezed my hands again.
