CHAPTER 11
Pascal quickly took his hand away and stood straight, stepping back from her.
Josephine blinked severally and sat back without taking the remote.
“I will go and eat, I will watch the replay” He said, avoiding her face.
“You are acting weird, are you okay?” She asked.
“Yes miss Josephine” He replied and left.
Josephine’s eyes followed him and she couldn’t help but wonder what happened earlier.
Why were they staring at each other like that? And why is he suddenly avoiding her face after that? Was he emb@rrassed or something?
She shook her head and concentrated on her movie.
Pascal’s mouth was full up with the sweet chicken Josephine made.
It tasted delicious and he kept eating eagerly.

“She’s not a b@d cook” He smiled and drank water from the glass, he didn’t go to the living room, he decided to settle here.
Why was his heart beating fast when their hands touched? This is not the first time it happened, it happened in her office before.
Is he nervous or….. Josephine isn’t a cold person, she is jovial and cool.
He dropped the plate in the sink and washed the plate before leaving the kitchen.
Josephine was about to leave the living room when he came in.
“Leaving already?” He asked and she replied with a yawn.
“Yes, good night kiddo” She smiled and started leaving.
“Good night aunt” He said.
“Stop calling me that”
“Stop calling me kiddo too” He said.

She rolled eyes at him before finally leaving.
“Cute” He smiled and fell on the couch.
NEXT MORNING
Josephine tied her hair behind her as she came out of her room, walking to the living room to make something for breakfast.
She entered the living room and saw Pascal at the dining table.
“Kiddo” She said.
“Morning” Pascal responded.
“What are you doing?” She asked.
“Setting the table for breakfast” He replied.
“You cook?”
“Yes” He smiled.
“The food was delicious, I forgot to compliment you” He said and she nodded with a smile.
“I know you weren’t expecting that from me”
“You catch me, I wasn’t expecting a rich girl like you to know how to cook”
“Hey! Stop calling me a rich girl, you don’t know me” She frowned.
“You own a car, you are a freshman…
“That doesn’t count, let’s stop talking about me, remember I’m your teacher”
“There she goes again” He said and giggled.
“I’m starving” She said and he walked to her.
He took her hand and she looked at him.

“What are you doing?
“Taking my teacher to the dining table” He replied and she laughed.
“Let’s go” He said and took her there.
“I’m coming” He said and left.
“It’s even better as I have him as a flatmate,” She smiled.
Pascal came out with a tray and he placed it on the table. He made a simple breakfast.
Bread, tea and eggs.
The appetizing smell that was oozing from the steaming breakfast was so enticing.
He pulled out a chair for himself and sat down.
Their faces met and they smiled at each other before they started eating.
“How is it?” He asked.
“Good and perfect, boyfriend material, your future girlfriend will be lucky” She replied and he laughed.
“Yeah” He said proudly.
“I didn’t say it for you to show your cockiness” She scoffed.

“Aunt” He said and she looked at him with a frown.
“You look cute that way”
“Hey, are you trying to flrt with your teacher? I’m older” She said.
“I now wish I was older”
“Sorry” She said m0ckingly.
“We might get late, let’s hurry up” He said and she nodded.
LATER
They dressed up and came out of their rooms at the same time.
Josephine started walking to him and Pascal couldn’t take his eyes away from her till she got to him.
The skirt she was wearing was hugging her perfect figure and showing her right places in view, she tucked in the white long sleeve shirt and her flat shows, giving her a gorgeous and attractive look.
“Let’s go” She flashed him a smile and started leaving.
“Pascal!!” He muttered and followed her.
They got out and Pascal started leaving but she called him back.
“You don’t wanna ride with me?” She asked.
“We don’t know each other in school right?” He smirked.
“Let’s keep it up with the pretence” He winked and walked away.
“Did he just wink, this kiddo” She said and entered her car.
She b@dly wanted to ride to school with someone but since he refused it’s fine.
