CHAPTER 51
MANON’S ROOM
Manon sighed and dropped her phone after staring at Landon’s number for a minute.
Since he hung up on her he hasn’t called back and somehow she felt worried about it.
“What am I even doing?” She roughed up her already brushed hair, and picked up her phone again.
“He might think I’m having a thing for him” She muttered and almost dropped the phone again but her finger mistakenly touched his number and it went straight to the call.
“What!!” She said but didn’t cut it off.
The phone kept ringing but he didn’t pick up.
“Is he ignoring my call or what?” She frowned, and re dialed his number herself.
He picked up after the second ring and she didn’t know when she sighed.

He didn’t say anything, he waited for her to say something first.
“Landon” She called softly.
“Good morning Manon” He replied.
“Are you still @ngry at me?” She asked.
“I was never @ngry with you” He sighed.
“Then why did you hang up the other time?”
“I thought I was disturbing you” He replied.
“I never said you were”
“Can I see you?” He asked, and Manon took a breath.
“Where?”
“I will come to your eatery” He replied.
“I will be waiting”
“Can’t believe we talk without arguing, don’t tell me you are already falling for me?” He laughed.
“Landon!!!!” She shouted, and he laughed loudly.
“See you”
“Don’t come again, I don’t want to see you” She shouted.

“Hey sister, keep your voice down” Camila said at the door.
“F*ck you” Manon f!red at her.
Camila laughed and closed the door.
BACK IN THE KITCHEN
“Do you want me to kss your lips?” He asked sedvctively, giving her that intense mesmerizing look.
“Yes” She replied senselessly, and his throat moved hungrily.
Tension built up between them immediately she gave that reply to his question.
She didn’t know when the words left her lips and she was still not aware of what she said.
Her eyes were beginning to close on their own till he stopped his lips on her lips.
“Do you really want me to kss you?” He whispered and she blinked.
Her eyes opened fully and they widened immediately she realized what she said.
“Do you?” He asked again, staring at her.

“No!!” She said quickly, and he smiled.
“But you said yes” He teased, and she looked away.
He brought her face back with a finger and smiled.
“Can you stop smiling?” She asked softly.
“Why?” He smiled again, cutely.
“Let’s…We’re gonna get late for school” She stuttered slightly, and Pascal stepped back from her.
She came down from the counter and started avoiding his face.
He smiled and started doing what he was doing before, he would glance at Josephine who was trying to not look at him, she was so embrrassed that she said yes when he asked that.

SPRINGFIELD HIGH SCHOOL
Pascal left immediately he came out of Josephine’s car.
She remembered almost making out with Pascal in the kitchen and she chuckled.
She started going to her office, and her eyes caught Laurent coming.
Their eyes met but she quickly looked away and quickly walked to her office.
Laurent stopped and started wondering why she was avoiding him.
His phone started ringing and he took it out to see his father calling.
“Hello dad” He said.
“Come to the mansion tonight” Mr Lawrence said.
“Ok dad” Laurent replied.
